uses data to illustrate the journey of Palestine - Israel and Russia - Ukraine
from the past to the present time. The photos are reproduced on copy paper stitched together by Shelley Beach Ganderton.
They are juxtaposed as windows in 5 metal railway carriages created by Balint Bolygo. The work shows the progression of
shared traumas triggered by events of the 20th century.
It is accompanied by the unanswered question

is a poem expressed in a spiral of pages.
The words are handwritten on a backdrop of my artwork and printed on Hahnemuhle 100gsm rice paper and attached by magnets to the metal spiral.
